[NOTE: Thanks for your understanding as we continue to improve this new site.] WHAT IS GEO? Based on the principle of leading and learning by example, Global Educators Online (GEO) is an initiative hosted by the World Virtual School (WVS) Project to provide resources for international educators related to online collaboration within and among the eight international school regions. Examples of regional and transregional collaboration are posted by each of the WVS Regional Representatives, as well as contact information to find out how you might participate or create a similar collaboration of your own. The Global Teachers Info page offers a variety of resources, including many informational and communication opportunities relevant to teaching internationally. GEO Ning provides social interconnection - for the exploration and development of shared ideas - within and among our regional communities. WANT TO GET INVOLVED? Investigate the site. See what's offered and how it relates to your needs. Ask for more. Your feedback is highly valued. Contact your regional WVS Representative (listed to the right) with any requests, concerns, or comments. For GEO site-specific thoughts or suggestions, use the "feedback" link at the bottom of every page. Share your thinking and/or your work. Contact your WVS Rep to offer your example of regional or transregional collaboration, and/or get involved with GEO Ning social networking. |
